This presentation will outline how the NSW Transport cluster is aligning broader NSW Government policy for planning and design with its management of assets. It will cover an overview of the whole of Government NSW Movement and Place Framework and the Transport for NSW Standards Management Framework.
The NSW Movement and Place Framework brings together policy, strategic guidance and tools from across the NSW Government to help us better match the design, planning and operations of roads and streets with their functions. This requires us to take a multi-modal and multi-user view of our transport assets. The Transport for NSW Standards Management Framework brings together standards across all transport modes into a common framework to better manage assets throughout the asset lifecycle.
