ESG has become a focal point for many organisations that are thinking through how ESG will change their business and ways of working. Tia Tang and Sergio Apostol will provide a perspective on how integrating ESG considerations into the business can alter outcomes such as resilience and considerations for the different dimensions to resilience. In implementing ESG into the business as usual, mapping asset management activities to an ESG framework highlights areas of alignment and opportunities to spur new action.

This session will be followed by an update on the AMCouncil’s Sustainability in Asset Management project by Sean Reeves, who has been supporting the delivery of this project for the SRiAM SIG. As the project manager, he has been helping the group leads assemble information from various sources in environmental, engineering and risk sectors as well as the 17 UN SDGs, into what will become a very useful source of information for members of the AMCouncil.
