The theme is “Supply chains driving sustainable asset management outcomes”.  You will gain insights and hear interesting perspectives across asset management, temporary and permanent supply chain management, and procurement practices.

Arup will set the scene by sharing thoughts on sustainable supply chain management and procurement. Then you will hear from our panel of industry leaders from Port of Brisbane, Queensland Rail and Team Global Express as they provide insights into how the supply chain can unlock some of the challenges and opportunities around sustainable asset management outcomes.

Panellists:

Peter Scuderi, Global Skills Leader, Assets and Operations, Arup. Peter’s international career within the built environment has spread across innovative service offerings transforming clients’ businesses. He has facilitated their achievement of improved business outcomes through better performing assets, efficient operating teams, and effective critical systems. Most recently he has been working along side clients exploring opportunities through sustainable supply chain management.

Adrian Doyle, Logistics and Supply Chain Specialist, Arup. Adrian has advised multiple clients helping them to optimise operations supply chains, logistics strategies and back of house goods and waste flows. He has worked across healthcare, rail, aviation, commercial property and utilities and will provide an overview of supply chain management and procurement as well as highlighting opportunities alignment to organisations’ sustainability drivers.  

Ramesh Liyanage, Executive General Manager Infrastructure, Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd. Ramesh leads the Infrastructure Business Unit responsible for landside and waterside asset management, engineering, capital projects, and land development functions.

Caroline Moss, Senior Manager Environment, Queensland Rail. Caroline leads the environmental portfolio for Queensland Rail spreading across the entire operations with total assets of $8.0 billion, and a network that extends more than 6,600 kilometres across the state.

Heather Bone, Director ESG, Team Global Express. Heather is responsible for ESG initiatives and reporting across the Team Global Express which has a portfolio of assets including 7000 trucks, 1500 forklifts, 41 planes, 2 ships and 150 properties.
