Comments are sought on the Jan23 draft document UNDRR document “ Handbook for Implementation of the Principles for resilience Infrastructure”.
In consultation with over 100 countries, stakeholders and experts The Principles for Resilient Infrastructure was developed to raise awareness around resilient infrastructure, integrate resilience as a core value in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, and assist the public and private sectors in making risk-informed policy and investment decisions.
Detailed guidance to each group of stakeholders involved in infrastructure resilience has now been developed by UNDRR in the publications” Handbook for Implementation of the Principles for Resilient Infrastructure”.
The Handbook explains the interventions and key performance indicators that can be used to improve and monitor national infrastructure resilience as well as the governance framework to implement stakeholders’ interventions.
