The AM Council is undertaking a study with the aim to identify quantifiable impacts of inclusion and diversity across a range of asset management domains.

We are seeking expressions from organisations willing to transparently participate in the study by providing a range of case studies of varied success.

This is an opportunity to be involved and shape an I&D study across industry in asset management, to identify and analyse data and insights into where the AM Community of Practice currently sits and areas that we can progress further.

The Study Objective

The study objective is to determine if a greater level of inclusion & diversity in decision making can be linked to beneficial outcomes for projects or work across a range of Asset Management domains.
If the above is found to be the case, the study will explore where the greatest impacts have been found and the levels of collaboration & inclusion. Measures of project & work success will be aligned to cost, time, risk reduction & performance outputs.

Study Volunteering Organisation’s Commitment

Organisations willing to participate will need to support the study with:

  • A range of case studies of asset management work of varied success and human resource metrics and details of levels of collaboration associated with the work; and
  • Survey questions to team members (that are still employees in the organisation) regarding the case studies

While it is recognised that organisations may find it challenging to divulge information relating to less successful projects, to gain the necessity range of data, visibility of less successful work is required.  The study will aim to provide anonymity of detailed content relating to specific work, unless given prior consent and authorisation to discuss or report specific details outside of the study group.
