Following an extensive executive talent recruitment process supported by one of our partner organisations, we have secured the services of our new CEO, Anne Gibbs, who started with the Asset Management Council on 18 May 2015.
Anne has international experience in managing infrastructure asset projects and teams covering many different countries, from aging infrastructure assets in Russia and Eastern Europe to those in the UK, Denmark, Argentina, Africa, Indonesia and East Timor working for multinational companies, consultancy firms, water boards, local governments, the United Nations and RedR Australia. She has also worked in both state and local government and in the engineering management consulting sector in Victoria as well as most other states of Australia.
Most recently involved in the not-for-profit sector, she was the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of the Victorian Division of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia responsible for establishment and ongoing development of the operations and strategic direction in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (civil engineering), an MBA in Technology Management and a Doctorate in Business Administration
Anne is excited to be taking up the role with the AM Council and looks forward to meeting the members and working with the Board to enhance its strategy, grow the organisation and make a difference in the asset management industry.
