The Asset Management Council Glossary provides individuals who are working within a management systems environment with a set of standardised definitions useful for contracts, processes and developing consistent frameworks.
The Glossary has been developed, and is continually been developed, by a core group of eminently qualified asset management and maintenance practitioners who are working towards the Glossary being harmonised against recognised Asset Management Standards and Models.
Over the past three weeks, the Glossary received its latest upgrade in order to index all certification models, disciplines, elements, sets and units. The Glossary now shows the link between each glossary item and also shows the relationship between certification terms, for example, if a competency set definition is clicked, the glossary will display its parent element and child unit.
Also, individuals are encouraged to comment on glossary items once logged in as a member to the Asset Management Council website. Comments will be published after approval from the webmaster.
The Glossary is part of the Asset Management Body of Knowledge and can be accessed here.
