The Organisational Asset Management Maturity Award is a prestigious award recognising and celebrating progress of companies who are on an asset management journey. Here a companies progress in asset management is assessed using the AMCouncil’s Asset Management Maturity Model.
Organisational Maturity Assessments were undertaken at several companies throughout 2017. At the AMCounicl gala Awards Dinner held on Tuesday 4th April at the beautiful Victoria Park Golf Course it was announced that a Gold Award to be presented to Brisbane Airports Corporation.
Brisbane Airport is a suburb in its own right, the largest airport in Australia by land size of 2,700 hectares, and the third-largest airport in Australia by passenger numbers, with more than 22.5 million passengers travelling through the airport in the last financial year. Brisbane Airport Corporation’s vision is to provide Queensland with a modern, efficient and world-class airport. Central to this is the work the Airport Facilities Team is doing in developing an asset management framework, that optimises return through a risk based approach using leading edge technologies and systems.
