The AM Council is seeking volunteer members to present on Global Maintenance Day on Friday June 6th 2025 in Melbourne.
What is Global Maintenance Day?
Global Maintenance Day is an initiative of the Global Forum on Maintenance and Asset Management. The goal is to promote and celebrate the value of maintenance. It is occurring on June 9th and will be celebrated all around the world with various initiatives organised by many stakeholders including the AM Council. (Note: Monday 9th June is King’s Birthday public holiday in some states.)
It is an opportunity to educate people on the importance of maintenance and to share collective experiences. This year the AM Council would like to focus on emerging and innovative approaches to solving maintenance issues – examples may include using six sigma to quickly resolve crucial issues in a small team environment or having to recover quickly from issues caused by flood or drought but also provide sustainable solutions.
What is the Commitment?
Time commitment includes:
- Submission of a 500 word (maximum) on proposed presentation subject
- Preparation of a 20-minute presentation
Remuneration:
This is a volunteer position and no remuneration is provided by AM Council. AM Council does not reimburse travel for this position.
