    The large audience clearly appreciated learning about Infrastructure NSW's State Infrastructure Strategy through the lens of asset management and the inclusive and collaborative deployment strategy (via such avenues as the AM Community of Practice and Asset Management Maturity Assessments both run jointly with the AMCouncil).

    Number globeThe Auburn Stabling project involves the construction of a new train stabling facility in Sydney's north-west, with the aim of catering for the expected increase in train services in Sydney's inner-west and south-west. Discover how a smarter use of data would prove critical to the project's success.

    Arup were engaged to deliver an Asset Management model for use during maintenance and improvement works. Through the use of leading software integration solution FME, Arup's team provided a solution which allowed for seamless transferring of features between disciplines regardless of the native format of the design software being used.

  • Meeting of the NSW Government Village

    The Asset Management Council was proud to play a major part in yesterday's meeting of the NSW government village along with Infrastructure NSW. The purpose was to formally launch the new NSW Government endorsed Asset Management Policy. It was also an opportunity to receive an update from the CEO of Infrastructure NSW on the key asset management policy reforms underway in line with the State Infrastructure Strategy 2018-2038.

  • New asset powers the town of Mallacoota

    AusNet Services recently installed Gippsland’s first community battery, powering the township of Mallacoota through a grid-connected energy storage system within its network.

    The Mallacoota Area Grid Storage (MAGS) is a $7.5 million1 project aimed to greatly improve power reliability in the town. The project involves creating new energy facility including assets such as a large-scale battery, generator and associated equipment.
