call for eoiThe AM Council is seeking expressions of interest from its membership for suitably qualified persons to join an enthusiastic team to review the GFMAM Landscape Document.  Here is a chance to shape the globally recognized asset management subject matter document.

The Task

The AMCouncil GFMAM Representatives, John Hardwick and Dave Daines, will provide guidance on how the document is to be reviewed and templates to be used.   A team kick off meeting proposed Monday 21st December 2020 6pm AEDT with on going web-based meetings as required during the 3 month project with a final meeting Friday 5th March 2021.

Review the document using ISO Standards processes.  This entails review of the document line by line and advise where you think there should be changes and if so propose alternative.  Consensus to the changes are required by the team.

The Commitment

You would need to have time late December 2020 through to 1st week of March 2021 to commit to 3 months intense volunteer effort in out of work hours evenings commencing 21st December 2020 and finishing 5th March 2021.

The document review is to be completed and submitted by 5th March 2021 in preparation for review at the March meeting of GFMAM.

The Reviewer

To be considered you would need to have:

  • At least 5 years experience in Asset Management and Maintenance
  • Hold personal certification with the AMCouncil (CAAM, CPAM, CSAM, CFAM) or CAMA qualification with WPiAM

The Project Manager

The Project Manager must be able to have skill in leading discussion and gaining consensus of the team to changes as well as subject matter experience and holding certification in asset management as described for the reviewer team members. He/she should have experience in managing projects to keep to time and focused on task.  They should ideally also hold CSAM or CFAM qualifications under the AM Council certification scheme or CAMA qualification under WPiAM scheme.

The Project Manager must be willing to work with the AMCouncil GFMAM representatives, John Hardwick and Dave Daines, in presentation of the AM Council review outcomes to the GFMAM
