IPWEA CEO, David Jenkins, has released a communique from the recent IPWEA International Asset Management Congress. In advancing the future of infrastructure Asset Management the communique recommends considering the broad themes of:
- Increase awareness of Asset Management
- Increase commitment to educational programs
- Re-activate the ‘Local Government Financial Sustainability – Nationally consistent frameworks’
- Provide investment and planning certainty

Asset Management Council’s Director, Nicole Daaboul, was instrumental in delivery of the successful congress and AM Council’s international representatives Dave Daines and John Hardwick were able to meet with other international delegates at the congress assisting in influencing the use of asset management.
