RAMS Engineering as an engineering discipline is dedicated to the elimination of assets, equipment, process, services failures throughout the life-cycle. It is a specialist field as a sub-discipline of Systems Engineering which is recognised as important during design phase but often not utilised fully to realised its value. This paper presents how RAMS engineering skills contribute to the life-cycle performance of a product/asset/services and how various tools can be applied.
