Realising value for stakeholders requires optimal risk-based decision-making, which balances performance, cost and risk. It is a critical element of effective asset management and guidance is already available on this. Comprehensive guidance on how to apply a sustainability lens in asset management decision making is not available. The working group will research current and emerging asset management decision-making methods to address sustainability and develop a guide that will communicate a range of approaches that could be considered in the decision-making process to drive sustainability in asset management.
