Presentation One:
Topic: Importance of low voltage (LV) visibility to enable future energy capability
Summary: Understanding the importance of data for the future is a must. Unison has recognised that the electricity distribution landscape is changing and with that the requirement to have complete, accurate and the right data at your fingertips before the future requirements become current requirements.
Unison has initiated one of their key strategic business focuses as being LV Visibility and how to ensure the right data is targeted, prioritised, and acquired or derived to ensure the right balance between cost, performance, and risk.

- Deeper dive on key data enablers for future capability

Presentation Two:
Topic: Scaling a digital twin pilot to unlock value
Summary: Recognizing the growing importance of connected data and integrated digital workflows, the value that can be unlocked via the application of digital twins cannot be understated. Spatially enabled Digital Twins will provide the framework for smart decision-making and enabling transformation, becoming the digital workbench for the organisations and councils into the future.
From a technical perspective, partnering with existing key players in the market to develop a “best practice” approach improves certainty, speed of delivery has a built-in support model and ensures a future-ready outcome.
In this session, we will be discussing lessons learnt from digital twin pilot projects. What is working, what isn’t, how to get a tangible return on investment, and how to address the challenge of scaling pilot workflows up to be applied to an enterprise-level solution that can be applied to many assets.

About the speakers:
John Jiang, is a property asset manager with over 20 years’ experience across the local authorities and government agencies. His areas of expertise are architecture and design, project management, and strategic asset planning. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and an MBA specialising in international organisation management”
Daniel Jurgens is Technical Director – Digital Engineering responsible for the strategy and implementation of WSP’s offering of digital services across all sectors at WSP in New Zealand. He has 15 years’ experience devoted to the digital delivery of projects and transformation change of businesses. He is recognised globally for his award-winning digital delivery of the most challenging large-scale iconic projects, effectiveness as a change management leader, and as a keynote speaker.
