Each year, the Asset Management Council celebrates and highlights student innovation in the field of asset management through its Student Awards program. Students may enter one or more of three Award categories; Undergraduate Student, Postgraduate Student or Postgraduate Research.
Samantha Haines, recipient of the 2010 Undergraduate Student Award
In 2010, Undergraduate Student Award recipient Samantha Haines, nominated by Associate Professor Melinda Hodkiewicz from the University of Western Australia, submitted an entry detailing her study on developing a nationwide Asset Management Plan for Compressors for the APA Group, Australia’s largest natural gas infrastructure business. Impressing the Assessors with her study, Samantha was subsequently invited to present her work as a Paper during the 2010 ICOMS Asset Management Conference.
Each recipient of the 2011 Student Award category will receive:
- 1 complimentary 2011 ICOMS Asset Management Conference, Gold Coast registration, including 1 complimentary Awards Ceremony ticket
- framed certificate
- $500.00 cheque
- honorary Asset Management Council membership (for a period of 12 months)
