Andrew Sarah
Andrew Sarah has played a pivotal role at MESA as treasurer for five years, overseeing the national budget and expenditure and the auditing of accounts and as a member of the Victorian committee for nine years.
He was also a member of the organising committee for ICOMS 2001.
He predicts a bullish future for MESA in the ASEAN region through the provision of unrivalled professional services and sees the Society becoming the leading voice on asset management.
These predictions are based on two significant changes, the first of which is a professional secretariat to support the National council. Second, maintenance engineering is now being seen as a subset of asset management.
Andrew joined MESA to gain technical knowledge and to provide contacts after he had completed a university degree. These benefits he says will remain important for as long as he is involved with asset management responsibilities in his company.
He is currently project manager with Australian Envelopes, responsible for the management of special projects and supply chain, including sub-contractors.
