The Asset Management Council’s New Zealand Chapter hosted a highly successful event last week at the Napier War Memorial Centre, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Napier City Council. The feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the value of the insights shared and the engaging discussions that took place.
This hybrid event offered both in-person and online participation, allowing attendees from across New Zealand and beyond to connect and learn. For members, recordings and presentation slides are now available in the AMBoK for viewing and download.
The event featured two standout presentations:
- PanPac: Lessons in Asset Resilience following Cyclone Gabrielle – presented by Dylan Stuijt, Site Engineer at Pan Pac Forest Products Ltd.
- Unison’s Journey in Pursuit of Knowledge Management – presented by Rachel Butler, Manager of Document Control and Regulatory Asset Management Plan at Unison Networks.
These presentations explored topics that deeply resonate with the asset management community, including practical lessons in resilience from recent natural disasters and insights on fostering knowledge-sharing cultures within organizations.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us, whether in person or remotely. The enthusiasm generated by this event is a testament to the strength of the asset management community in New Zealand, and we look forward to more engaging discussions in the future!
