The Asset Management Council Australia’s Gippsland Chapter, in collaboration with the Centre for Smart Analytics (CSA) and the Institute of Innovation, Science and Sustainability (IISS) at Federation University Australia, successfully hosted an insightful seminar on Digital Twins on Friday evening. The event highlighted applications of this technology in smart homes, industrial settings, and health sector assets.

We were honoured to have Prof. Rakesh Mishra and Prof. Leigh Fleming from Huddersfield, UK, present an excellent seminar on Digital Twins. Additionally, Prof. Nigel Schofield joined us online from the UK to share his research findings on battery asset management. The discussions and insights shared were incredibly valuable, sparking engaging conversations among attendees.

Special thanks to Dr. Gopinath Chattopadhyay for arranging the event. Professors Syed Islam and Iven Mareels expressed their gratitude to the Huddersfield team, Federation University Australia researchers, and industry delegates for their active participation. The seminar was followed by a productive networking session, generously sponsored by the Asset Management Council.

Attendees conveyed their appreciation for the event, noting that they thoroughly enjoyed the face-to-face interactions and the opportunity to discuss collaboration and research.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. We look forward to more collaborative efforts and enriching seminars in the future.
