Managing the NSW Country Regional Network
This presentation is called “Managing the Country Regional Network” and will be presented by Lucio Favotto the Asset and Engineering Manager for UGL Regional Linx. The presentation will outline the UGL Regional Linx approach to Operating and Maintaining the NSW Country Regional Network. The presentation will also describe the Asset Management approach that UGL Regional Linx has applied.
Lucio Favotto, Asset and Engineering Manager, UGL Regional Linx
Lucio Favotto has over 25 years extensive experience in infrastructure management across all phases of asset life cycle; from demand/ need, planning, acquire, operations and maintenance and disposal.
Lucio is currently the Asset and Engineering Manager with UGL Regional Linx who are operating and maintaining the Country Regional Network in NSW.
In Lucios previous roles Lucio has been instrumental in the development and implementation of Transport for NSW Asset Management Framework which included a variety of transport modes including; heavy rail, light rail, transport interchanges, ferries, buses, road networks, asset information systems plus supporting assets such as information and technology assets (eg network controls) with an asset base valued at $170 billion to deliver the organisational objectives and meet the service demands of customers across Greater Sydney and Regional NSW.
Lucio’s contributions included development of asset management standards including:
- Operational and Maintenance concepts.
- Service Provider Asset Management Plans
- Asset Information and
- Asset Condition Performance and Reporting.
Lucio is Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA).
