Congratulations to Sydney Trains who took out two asset management excellence award at the AMCouncil Gala Awards Dinner held on Tuesday 4th April 2017 at Victoria Park Brisbane.
The Asset Management Safety Award considers projects which demonstrate the use of asset management principles to manage safety better and was awarded to Sydney Trains for the “production planning pre-advice windows for safe access for track maintenance”.
The Asset Management Innovation Award Category is for Projects, products or frameworks that demonstrate new techniques or innovative approaches to asset management best practice at any or all of its life cycle stages and was won by Sydney Trains for their submission on their Rail Integration Architect process. The innovation in the project is the wide ranging impact the framework has had in the market and it is seen to be a leader in development of this approach.
