Sydney – Asset Management Policy for the NSW Public Sector 4 Years on

The Asset Management Policy for the NSW Public Sector, TPP 19-07, was introduced in October 2019. Its purpose is to drive improved asset management across the public sector. The policy sets out the core asset management practices that the NSW Government expects agencies to adopt in order to meet service delivery objectives efficiently.

The presentation will provide an overview of the policy and assess its effectiveness to date in enhancing AM capabilities. It will also highlight the common asset management challenges faced by public sector agencies in an increasingly complex environment.
