As we step into a new chapter of our journey at the Asset Management Council Sydney Chapter, it’s a time of reflection, gratitude, and anticipation. The dedication and passion of our committee members are the bedrock on which our community stands, fostering growth, innovation, and excellence in asset management.
Following on from the Sydney Chapter 28 February AGM, we are thrilled to announce the committee for this year, a blend of continuity and fresh perspectives. Our Chair, Myles Gatherer, Vice-Chair, David Spiteri, and Secretary, Stephen Poropat, will continue their leadership and guidance for another year, thanks to their election to two-year terms last year. Their unwavering commitment and leadership have been instrumental in steering our chapter towards new heights, and we look forward to their continued contributions.
This year, we also celebrate the re-election of Tammy Falconer and Dylan Buckley to the general committee positions. Their ongoing dedication and insights have been invaluable, and we are delighted to have them continue their roles, contributing to our chapter’s success.
While we embrace the new year with our continuing leaders and re-elected members, we also extend our deepest gratitude to the outgoing committee members: Gajanan Bochare, Shane Day, Timothy Dowsett, Katrina Farah, Lucy Nitschinsk, Paul O’Docherty, Ram Prakasan, and Harpreet Singh. Your effort, dedication, and time have been invaluable to our community. The progress and achievements of the past year are a testament to your hard work and passion. We thank you for your service and hope to see your continued involvement in our community.
As we bid farewell to our outgoing members, we warmly welcome Brendyn Williams, Katherine Xie and Nick Berriman to our committee. Your fresh ideas, energy, and enthusiasm are vital for our growth and success. We are excited to have you on board and believe your contributions will lead us to new opportunities and challenges, enriching our community further.
To our members and the broader asset management community, we invite you to join us in welcoming our new committee members. Your support and engagement are crucial as we continue to advance the field of asset management, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and best practices.
In closing, we look forward to a year of achievements, learning, and collaboration. Together, we will continue to build on our successes, overcome challenges, and make a significant impact in the asset management landscape.
Thank you to all our committee members, past and present, for your dedication and commitment to excellence. Here’s to another year of growth, success, and community at the Asset Management Council Sydney Chapter.
